Let's call it a day :)

Wow! Our team had such a busy, exciting day!! :)

Here we are in Houston.... :)
Our day started at 7:45 a.m. After our aerospace physiology briefing, we went back to the hangar to work on our experiment which is now almost completely padded, except where we need to access it to fill the liquids. We prepared the 12.6% sodium chloride solution (also known as salt water) and completed our TEDP except for one small addition. :) Some team members went to a helpful meeting about public relations as well as a question and answer session.

It is absolutely amazing to see all the work that the NASA employees put into this program and everything they are doing for us. We could never thank them enough for giving us this opportunity, being willing to share all their experience with us, and answering all our questions. =) It is incredible to be here at Johnson Space Center and be able to talk to so many people who have had amazing success in life. :)

Also, being able to see all the other team's experiments was awesome! We learned so much from the other undergraduate students today. Being surrounded by nice, smart people makes this program all the more amazing. :)

We left the base around 4:30 p.m. relaxed for a little bit, and had a delicious dinner at Firehouse Subs. Today was Harrison's last full day here as he leaves tomorrow in order to start his internship at UCLA on Monday. We are going to miss him just as we have been missing Branden.

Here are some more pictures from our day:
A plane the astronauts use for training :)
Here is the plane we will fly on!!!
Padding the experiment to remove all danger. :)
The Citrus GraviTeam :)
There is science. AND there is fun and games. This one was called "See who(Gabe? Phoebe? Josh?) can get the most pieces of tape on Randall's back".. :)
Checking out another team's experiment. :)
