SPRINGFEST is coming!!!!

This week, May 2-5, is Springfest at Citrus! Stop by and see the Citrus GraviTeam! You can ask us questions to learn more about us and what we are doing, and you can pay to participate in a paper airplane contest. The winner of the hour will receive a gift certificate to a near-by restaurant! We will be keeping a record of whose airplane flies the farthest, and at the end of the week, the winner will receive a grand prize. We are looking forward to seeing you at Springfest! :)

Busy, busy, busy.....

Sorry we haven't been posting very regularly. Our team has been incredibly busy...

First off, we would like to thank everyone who helped us out by buying donuts on Thursday. We are steadily approaching our fundraising goal, and we really appreciate all the support. :)

For the last couple of weeks, our team has been doing a little bit of outreach, but mostly we have been focusing on the TEDP which is the final report we have to turn in before our flight. Every detail of our experiment has to be included in this report, so we are working hard to meet our deadline of April 3.

Pizza and Bake Sale a Success!

We wanted to give a huge thank you to everyone who came and bought pizza and/or goodies yesterday and today! Thank you to all our friends, family, professors, and complete strangers who came and bought some food!

Special thanks belongs first off to Pedro De Leon, Edward Reyes, Ravita Singh, and Lavina Sulzen who came and volunteered their time during both days. We appreciate all the help you have been to the team!

Next, thank you to our friends and family, including Leah Grier, Mr. and Mrs. Stremel, Mrs. Sulzen,  Hannah Sulzen, Mr. and Mrs. Waddington, Mrs. Gunter, and RaeLynn Gromer, who baked us a large portion of our baked goods. Our successful sale would not have been possible without your invaluable (and delicious!) contributions.

Lastly, thank you to the many anonymous and generous donors during the two days. We sincerely appreciate your support!

Thanks again! :)

As a side note, we do have our official t-shirts for sale. They are $20 each. Just come find one of the team members and we will take care of the ordering for you!

Site Update

Just wanted to let everyone know that the site has been updated. All of the sections are filled, and we are actively monitoring the site so feel free to post comments. We have just received our team t-shirts, and we are working on improving our prototype, so we will be able to start building our real experiment soon. Also, our first fundraising event, the on-campus Pizza Booth, is coming up on April 6 from 10-2, followed by an on-campus Bake Sale on April 7 from 11-4, so mark your calendars. Both will be held in the campus center mall (in the middle of the library and the bookstore). We hope to see you there!
